A  weeks a long time in sport but this week it has been so in life as well,  Started the week in quite a good mood & looking forward to a few days off at the end of the week before starting on the next new work project, but life has ways of keeping you on your toes & this week has been a fine example of it. Was surposed to be working 3 night shifts this week finishing on thursday morning & not returning to work till monday, But by 2 hours into the second night shift of the week everything had changed & a restfull end to the week gone, not that i mind especially when it involves the health of somebody you love.

Well by 10pm on tuesday night I was having to rearrange the week as my lovely Girlfriend was being rushed into st. James hospital leeds with severe pain in her stomach & shooting pains in her chest, Luckily her the father of her daughter met her at the hospital & her housemate Looked after her little girl whilst i was stuck on a night shift in Scunthorpe waiting news as to tghe severity of the illness, 

Big thanks to you guys for all the updates I was supplied with through out the night, It really was appreciated.

Anyway finished work at 6am Wednesday & went home to grab a couple of hours sleep before setting off for leeds to visit as she had been admitted to the surigcal ward, so after 3 hours kip its on the road to leeds.

Thankfully the bosses at work have been great & gave me the rest of the week off to spend with lou & a big thanks to them also, so here we are sunday morning & my little car now knows its way to Leeds without much control as its done the same trip for the last 4 days, 

Also Saturday PM they opperated to remove the offending item within Lou that was causing the problem & she seems to be getting better, Spoken with her this morning & she seems in good spirits & looking forward to be going home sometime in the near future. 

Yey panic over & normality will resume, But god what a night last night was with having to leave leeds as they took Lou into theatre & then sat waiting for the phone to ring to say she was ok & back on the ward, eventually although the phone had not rung got word from her housemate that she was ok & rang ward myself to find out how she was.

All i can say in summary of this week is I am glad that a new week begins & that Lou is making a good recovery, Just do not want many more weeks like this one.

Well what a day it has been, Up at 05:30 this morning to travel over to Worksop for work, GFirst of all I get a collegue ringing me as I arrive at the Worksop store begging for help as they Have a Car problem & could I take some tools out to them on the outskirts of Worksop, So a quick hunt around the store & i have the tools I needed now time to go & find them, now the next problem a 5 minute drive turns into a 25 minute drive due to a oneway system & having to wait at a level crossing for a train to pass. eventually get there & get him sorted out & go back to store. By thios time its 08:00 & not actually got any worki done. So 08;00 start work & then the problems just keep coming after a good start to the days work the team I have been working with hit a block we print the plans needed to move on to our next section only to find that the plans have not been looked at properly & equipment that is needed to do the job is not in the store so " hours of ringing around the local regions follows whilst the rest of the team spend there day stripping down overstock shelves & caging old stock whilst we keep looking for the equipment needed, getting the picture yet,  so by the time I finiashed @ 15:00 well I had spent most of the day staring at a computer & talking on the phone instead of doing what I am surposed to be doing,  At least the trip home was dull & mundane with no dramas or mishaps, lol

Well My life is going well, I have just had another good season on the Cricket field & yet again topped the teams Bowling Averages but yet a agian for the 3rd year running I have missed out on the league award by less then 0.25 of a run.
Life just is not fair, lol. 

Anyway on the other-side things tend to balance out in life & on the up side I have now meet the woman of my dreams who I love greatly & things are moving along smoothly. So life in general is going well & looking forward to spending more time with the woman that has made my life complete.
